This is my Kobe Bryant slow motion mix.

Many debates pertaining to my two favorite players, LeBron James and Michael Jordan, have included Kobe Bryant.

Now a lot of you youtube members have seen me state WHY I think LeBron or Jordan are better than Kobe. What some of you never ask is just how good do I think Kobe is? Nobody ever wants me to compare him to Duncan, or Dwight, or Yao, it’s always LeBron and Jordan. So never mistake me saying WHY I think he’s not the better player in those comparisons, I definitely enjoy watching Kobe play his game.

I like watching Kobe play a lot! Kobe Bryant is already a lock for the top 10 perimeter players of all time list. Kobe is already a top 15 “potential” type player for all time rankings in my opinion. Considering the respect I have for players of the past, that’s saying something.

Kobe Bryant should have been a more serious MVP canidate in the 02-03 season, he had a fantastic season in the 02-03 season. In my opinion 2002-2003 was Kobe’s best year.

Kobe also has added an MVP to his 2 scoring titles, Kobe Bryant finally won his long sought after MVP award after the 07-08 season. Kobe Bryant now has been part of 3 championship teams, played a strong, almost “lead” role in one of the championships, he has 2 scoring titles, he has an MVP award now, Kobe has legitimized his greatness.

The debate continues as to who is the best player in the league, some of you may say Kobe, some of you may agree with me and say LeBron. Others may choose someone different all together. With all of that being said, the standard that Michael Jordan left on this game should never be sold short for one second.

The NBA needs to stop selling Kobe Bryant and LeBron James tickets with Michael Jordan’s name. Kobe Bryant is Kobe Bryant. He may have emulated Michael Jordan’s game, but he’s still Kobe Bryant #24 of the LA Lakers.

Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy the mix!
